Auditions for all summer stock theater intensives are held June 12 - 14 at the Academy. You will receive an email confirmation prompting you to reserve an audition slot after your $50 deposit is received. Security deposits are non-refundable and will hold your place in our program.

Two Week Musical Theater Intensive:

Matilda, Jr. weekdays from July 11 - July 22 from 9 - 12:30pm. Performance Date: Friday, July 21 (free summer theater on the lawn)

Open to students in Grades 5 thru 12

    Choose Two or Three Weeks in this Musical Theater Program: 

    (if you can only do part of the time, please contact [email protected] for payment adjustment. All kids may participate in this program regardless of scheduling conflicts)

    Legally Blonde Jr, the Musical. Weekdays from July 24 thru August 11, from 9 - 12:30

    Performance: Wednesday, August 9 (free summer theater on the lawn) 

    *Thursday and Friday, August 10/11 are fun drama games/summer fun games/walk thru Fair days for students.

    Open to students in Grades 5 thru 12

    • For grades 5 and up. Weekdays 9 - 12:30pm from July 24 thru August 11. Auditions June 14 and 16 from 4 - 7pm. Students will be contacted to reserve audition slot after registration. *3 week intensives may be adjusted to 1 or 2 weeks to suit vacation conflicts.

    • Commitment to the last two weeks only. *Please note, students will be cast in a role but lead roles are cast to full 3 week attendees.

    Students in grades 5 and up wishing to enroll in the Show Choir Experience 

    MUST be available for at least 2 of the 3 summer concerts:

    Sundays, 6/25; 7/30; 8/13 at 6:00pm 

    Program Dates: June 15 & 16 from 4 - 6:30pm and June 19 - 23 from 9 - 1pm *9 - 3pm Wednesday - Friday for those performing the June 25 concert. Daily from 1 - 3pm from July 10 thru August 11.

    There is a $100.00 membership fee to join just this program. It is free to any student wishing for extended day hours from 9 - 3pm.

    Summer Advanced Musical Theater, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, a musical comedy.  Flexible summer schedule, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5 - 7pm or 8 sometimes from June 20 - August 3. 


    Performances: August 3 & 4 at 6:00pm & August 5 at 4:00pm.

    Open to grades 9 and up. *Special exceptions for grades 7/8 *must be signed up for one day intensive in the summer to apply - see policy requirements at kidzkonnectionct.com.

      A Midsummer Night's Dream, Summer Shakespeare Production. Flexible evening rehearsal schedule, generally Mondays & Wednesdays from 5 - 8pm from June 19 - August 18. Show dates: August 19 at 5pm & 20 at 2pm, 2022.

      Open to performers from ages 12 to adult
