Dance Boot Camps for Fall Season 2022
Mary Poppins Boot Camp - Thursday, August 25, 3:00 - 5:00pm for grades 6 and up
This special 2 hour class offers an inside look into the audition process for Mary Poppins and will help any student feel confident in the upcoming Mary Poppins audition as well as provide tips and skills to prepare for any audition. Support will be provided picking a solo piece that best shows off a student's vocal range, tips on how to identify a student's best character choice to audition for, and a preview of the cold dance portion of the audition to help every performer feel confident on the day of the audition.
Les Miserables Boot Camp - Thursday, August 25, 5:00 - 7:00pm for grades 9 and up
This boot camp is designed to provide auditioners with the best solo choice for the audition that shows off the performer's current vocal range while gaining a better understanding of the story, Les Miserables, the characters in the story and find confidence in preparing for the audition. Performers will spend time on scene readings and monologue choices that will best accentuate an individual performer's current skills and guide each auditioner to roles that will best suit the performer.
Grease the Musical Boot Camp - Wednesday, November 9, 4:30 - 6:30pm for grades 9 and up
This boot camp is designed to provide auditioners with the best solo choice for the audition that shows off the performer's current vocal range while gaining a better understanding of the story's options of characters. Support will be provided developing a student's solo choice, tips on how to identify a student's best character choice to audition for, and a preview of the cold dance portion of the audition to help every performer feel confident on the day of the audition. This boot camp will enhance an individual's audition confidence and preparedness for any audition you are hoping to nail.
Spring Awakening Boot Camp - Wednesday, November 9, 6:30 - 8:30pm for grades 10 and up
This boot camp is designed to provide auditioners with the best solo choice for the audition that shows off the performer's current vocal range while gaining a better understanding of the story, Spring Awakening, the characters in the story and find confidence in preparing for the audition. Performers will spend time learning about the critical areas begin highlighted during this show's audition and help individual performer's become aware of their current performance level while guiding each auditioner to roles that will best suit the performer. This boot camp will enhance an individual's audition confidence and preparedness for any audition you are hoping to nail.
